LINGKOD TIMOG TO
CO-HOST OCTOBER 5, 2019 PCGNY CONSULAR OUTREACH IN NEWPORT
Lingkod Timog will co-host the
Saturday, October 5, 2019 Philippine Consulate General New York (PCGNY)
consular outreach in Newport to benefit individuals who are not able to go
to New York City consulate for service. Together with Fil-Am Newport and FilAm
Com of South Coast MA, and organized by NaFFAA-RI, the outreach will be held
at the Newport Elks Lodge, 141 Pelham St (corner Bellevue Ave) from 10:00 AM
to 4:00 PM. Anyone interested in the consular services available,

2019 Mission
to Tawitawi Province Treats 1,800+ Patients!
Thank you to the Medical Mission volunteers
and the corporate and government partners! Lingkod Timog's 15th
medical mission in February 2019 attended to more than 1,800 medical,
surgical and dental Badjaos, Samals and Tausugs patients in TawiTawi
province in the Southwestern Philippines. The mission provided medical
consultations and treatment, surgical procedures, and dental services.
Feeding program, personal hygiene instruction and services, and haircuts,
among other services are included. The mission sites were in Sitangkai,
the southwesternmost island of the Philippines, and in Panglima Sugala, in
TawiTawi island.

NaFFAA
Lingkod Timog
participated in the May 25, 2019 organizing meeting of the newly
created New England Region of the National Federation of Filipino American Associations (NaFFAA)
. Lingkod Timog participated in the June
2019 Philippine Independence Day events and will assist in the U.S.
Census 2020 education and turn-out campaigns.
